LOW CARB = NO SWEETS! Really?

Let’s face it, the KETO/Low Carb Lifestyle doesn’t bust right out of the gates and head straight to dessert!  We all know that low carb usually means no sugar and no sugar usually means no dessert. It’s pretty much SOP (standard operating procedure).  So when I discovered that you can actually make delectable, Keto-friendly desserts I almost came unglued! So my appetite was intrigued. I went on a search for the sweet morsels of cookies, brownies, chocolate mousse and any other refuge of simple sweetness I could find that was actually Keto-friendly and low carb.

THE QUEST!

This very website (myketolifestyle.org) has a recipe section and we are getting started developing recipes and you’ll see it continue to grow.  But I simply could not let a discovery like Keto-Friendly Dessert Recipes go unnoticed. When you are succeeding at the Keto/Low Carb lifestyle and seeing the benefits such as weight-loss, better metabolism, balanced blood sugar, etc., it can be very powerful and encouraging to give yourself a little treat once in awhile. Especially if you can do it while eating healthy and maintaining the low carb life. That’s right… guilt free.

    This is a brilliant thing you have going.
    It is interactive and very engaging.
    I never knew that one could be on Keto diet and still have desserts like these, with compromising their diet.

    I like the richness of the desserts and to know that they are low calories. Which means people with sweet tooth can have their desserts with worrying about the extra pound.

    It’s good for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  5. Hey this is a nice recipe…i will try this out. Have you tried the Keto White Chocolate ? Steer clear of vegetable oils and refined sugar with this fat-fueled keto dessert. Using just cacao butter and sweetener, this recipe creates a melty and smooth bar with zero net carbs!

  6. Like most people I enjoy chocolate. I have been searching for a recipe that I can use while trying to diet. This looks delicious. Can I ask you where you source your cocoa from?

    1. Hey Thanks!
      Use any dark chocolate that contains a minimum of 70 percent cocoa solids or more. Watch the carbs. 1 ounce of unsweetened chocolate (100 percent cocoa) has 3 grams of net carbs.
